Building Our Future
Our House is built on love. But our House is full—and too often, we have to turn families away. To meet this urgent need, we are building a new Ronald McDonald House, nearly doubling our capacity from the current 25 rooms in our temporary location to 48 in the new house, so every family can stay close to their child.
While our address has temporarily changed, our mission remains the same: providing comfort, care, and support for families with hospitalized children, ensuring they have a place to stay close to the medical facility. Every dollar donated brings us closer to opening a new, expanded House that will serve even more families for generations to come.
RMHC of South Texas is grateful for our many community partners who help us maintain a stocked pantry for use by as many as 25 families at a time while they are staying with us. Our Pantry inventory includes fresh produce, essential food items and snacks, including healthy grab-and-go options while families travel to and from local medical appointments.

The high cost of medical care is a burden our families face, oftentimes not knowing how long their battle will last. Our Share-A-Night program funds help to provide lodging, transportation, meals, and more for our families. Every donation helps a family stay close to their critically ill child and close to the medical care they need.
